BINGO'S ALL-STARS SUFFERS FIRST LOSS; DDN/SEAN BELL REMAIN UNDEFEATED; R2K KNOCKS OFF PR PRIDE/K1X
Trying to go undefeated is never easy. Just ask the New England Patriots. Bingo's All-Stars were looking to remain undefeated Sunday afternoon as they took on TNP/Pops 5, but going from outdoors to indoors may have changed their fates. Being down by as many as twelve points, Bingo's All-Stars made a run and eventually tied the game early in the fourth quarter, but TNP/Pops 5, trying to remain in the playoff hunt, wasn't letting up on their aggressiveness.TNP/Pops 5 desperately needed a victory and they got one by knocking off Bingo's All-Stars 110-101. DDN/Sean Bell All-Stars, the defending champions, took care of business as well Sunday afternoon by squeeking by SCAN NY 109-100 to remain undefeated and having sole possession of first place, and R2K edged out PR Pride/K1X on Saturday afternoon, 107-100, as they came back from 20 points down to defeat the NBA backourt of Andre Barrett and Kenny Satterfield.
R2K were led by Dwight Hardy with 38 points, while PR Pride/K1X were led by Andre Barrett with 33 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
